BOGOTA, February 2021 – After the acquisition of Optimizely and as part of an expansion plan to reach fresh talent, Episerver –  the digital experience platform powerhouse – has decided to partner with Cafeto to set up a new development Hub in Colombia.  

The partnership aims to leverage Cafeto’s expertise of more than ten years, recruiting and retaining premium talent in Colombia continuously and sustainably.  

“We were looking for a new place to recruit talent, and through our assessment of Cafeto as our partner, we decided that Colombia was a sound place to start our operations in Latin America,” says Fredrik Tjärnberg, Senior Vice-president of Expansion and Strategy at Episerver. 

Cafeto supports the first phase towards Optimizelys’s objective to establish a successful talent recruiting operation in Colombia, allowing them to speed up their understanding of the local market and eventually operate entirely independently.  

“We decided to develop our operations in Colombia through a partnership with Cafeto to reduce complexity and accelerate the process. From our experience building up our engineering offices in Hanoi, Vietnam, having local expertise is instrumental to be successful in building up a new center,” says Mr. Tjärnberg.
